THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 5.203(a) AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
The Defense Information Systems Agency seeks to award a sole source award to Rohde & Schwarz for Direction Finding Radio Frequency Monitoring Hardware, ARGUS Software, and associated Training for the Defense Spectrum Organization (DSO). Direction Finding Radio Frequency Monitoring in conjunction with ARGUS software provides the battlefield spectrum managers the ability to utilize a more complex and accurate DF antenna device, currently owned directional antennas, and creating a greater possibility of signal detection.
The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334515 and the size standard for the number of employees is 500.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with the Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc.. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, if any interested party believes they can meet the requirements below, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the government to determine if the party can perform the requirement. Interested parties must be able to provide ALL components listed in order to be considered capable. A determination to compete this action based on the responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via email to [email protected]. No faxed documents will be accepted.
