The government is requesting the capabilities for the purchase of one (1) : Powered Pallet Strapping System, meeting the following minimum salient characteristics:

• Battery powered at least 24V
• Come with a Battery Charger
• Unit must be portable and have rollers for easy movement from area to area.
• Must be able to with stand mild outside climate conditions.
• Must use synthetic strapping.
• Strapping size required is ½” to 5/8” in width due to strength needs.
• Due to weight concerns no metal strapping is wanted.  
• Machine must have an built in adjustable automatic Sealing Head that is able to reach 1800ft lbs of tension strength.
• Machine must be able to be operated by remote or joystick for ease of use.
• Machine must not require any bending and stooping to operate.
• Machine must have capability to perform a minimum of 100 pallet strappings per day and as much as 350 per day on a single charge for production efficiency purposes.
• Machine must be able to band a pallet that is 90” wide and 90” in height.
• Machine must come with an onsite training course for employees from a certified product expert/dealer or a representative from the OEM company of said machine.
