The Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base has a requirement for a Power Plant Inspection and Maintenance. Solicitation - FA9301-17-Q-0009. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a request for a quote (RFQ) The NAICS code is 335911.

Description of the requirement is as follows:

The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, transportation, tools, technical data/manuals, expertise, supervision, and all services necessary to perform the semiannual inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance for the power plant/battery systems for the following locations: Bldg. 2600 Battery Room and Room 114, B5557, P300, B4231, B8359, 1881, 1870, 1874, 4305.

The contractor shall provide semi-annual inspection, testing, and preventative
maintenance to the above mentioned power/battery plant equipment.
Upon completion of each semi-annual service, the contractor shall provide a postmortem
report detailing the findings during the inspection, test, and maintenance. The
report shall include at a minimum the following information:
• Date, time, location, and equipment under inspection, test, maintenance
• Battery voltage, impedance, ambient and battery temperatures
• Equipment failure and/or degradation
• Alarm and/or alert situations
• Health of battery cabling
• Status of visual inspections of all components
• Provide recommendations deemed necessary to maintain EAFB
power/battery plant systems operating at peak availability
