The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Redstone, 401 Lee Boulevard, Fort Eustis, Virginia 23604, intends to negotiate and award a firm-fixed-price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-92. The solicitation number is W911W6-17-T-0002 and will be issued as a request for quotes. The proposed contract action, a noncommercial item purchase in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, is for procurement of fifty (50) Power Amplifiers, part number TC-100D. The intended source is EFW Inc., 4700 Marine Creek Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76179. EFW Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer of this amplifier, which has an airworthiness release. Inspection, Acceptance and Delivery F.O.B. Point are at Destination, Fort Eustis, Virginia 23604. Delivery shall be no later than 45 weeks after receipt of order. Expedited partial and early delivery is acceptable and preferred. Shipping charges and warranty terms shall be included in the quote. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 334220. All responsible sources may identify interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. The Government will review and consider all proposals received meeting the specifications of cited part number, within the closing date set forth in this notice. However, the Government retains the sole discretion on whether or not to conduct this requirement competitively based upon information received in response to this notice.
