EMERICK CONSTRUCTION CO.POWELL BUTTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SEISMIC RETROFIT Bids due 2:00 pm, February 21, 2024 REQUEST FOR BIDSEmerick Construction Co., performing services as the CM/GC contractor, is seeking competitive bids for the Powell Butte Elementary School Seismic Retrofit. The project's jobsite is located at 3615 SE 174th Avenue, Portland OR 97236. Bids are due on 2/21/2024, at 2:00PM local time at the offices of the CM/GC, Emerick Construction via email to [email protected], Fax 503-771-2933, or dropped off in person at 7855 SW Mohawk Street, Tualatin, OR 97062. The bids will be publicly received with representatives of Centennial School District and Emerick Construction. Bid documents are available for review and download through the Emerick Construction Virtual Plan Room https://www.emerick.com/bidding or THE DJC PLANROOM 921 SW WASHINGTON ST., SUITE 210, PORTLAND, OR 97205. All bidders are advised to closely review sections of the Powell Butte Elementary School Seismic Retrofit Bid Instructions which include the Instructions to Bidders, Bid Packages, Bid Form, Insurance Requirements and Subcontractor General Conditions, as strict adherence to these sections is required. The work of this Project is anticipated to start mid-June 2024 with substantial completion in August 2024 and final completion September 2024. A non-mandatory pre-bid for interested subcontractors will be held on Thursday, February 1st at 3:30 p.m. at the project site address located above. The project consists of the seismic rehabilitation of Powell Butte Elementary School - original classroom wing, multipurpose room, locker room, office and kitchen. This solicitation is for a public works project and is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 (Prevailing Rate of Wage). All bids shall comply with the requirements of Oregon Revised Statutes. All bidders are advised that Emerick Construction Co., intends to submit subcontract bids for the following bid packages: Demolition, Concrete, Metals, and Carpentry. Centennial School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for 60 days.
