Notice of intent to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to Compunetix Inc. Compunetix Inc. is tasked to provide continued maintenance service for the four Joint Hawaii Information Transfer System (JHITS) Compunetix CONTEX 240/480 conference bridges installed in Hawaii. Services shall be provided for twelve (12) consecutive months on a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year (24/7/365) basis and shall include telephone assistance, hardware repair and replacement, advanced replacement, technical support, on call on-site trouble shooting and diagnostics, emergency outage coverage and minor software and hardware updates to maintain compliance with Joint Interoperability Test Command certified configuration requirements.

Compunetix Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer of Compunetix CONTEX 240/480 conference bridges. The Compunetix Contex 240/480 bridging system is the only authorized conference bridging system listed on the DoD Approved Products List that has been JITC-certified for operational use with the JHITS 5ESS switching system. No other conference bridging system is currently certified by JITC to operate with the 5ESS switches in its current configuration and certified with the same interfaces. Compunetix Inc. is the only available supplier that can provide maintenance services to JHITS and continue compliance with interoperability and information assurance requirements certified by the JITC for the JHITS Compunetix CONTEX 240/480 conference bridges.

Maintenance support services of the JHITS Compunetix CONTEX 240/480 conference bridges will ensure JHITS continues sustainment and operational support with delivery of primary command and control communications for Combatant Commanders throughout the Pacific theater.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted.
