Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center ? Atlantic (SSC$B!>(BLANT), Charleston, SC intends to increase the ceiling of contract N65236$B!>(B13-D-2157 with Oracle America, Inc. by $24,233,670 to permit the continuity of services on the current contract for Post Deployment Systems Support (PDSS) of Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) Increment 1 and its Test Incident Report software fixes. This action is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract ceiling increase based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the work required would be advantageous to the Government.
