This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation AG-0281-S-08-0054 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. A quotation is requested for the following items: #1) Portable Mobile Power Hopper equal to Model 23-600 with flexible screw conveyor to transport grass seed from seed mixer to bagging scale – Quantity 1 ea. #2) Shipping and Handling – 1 ea. Contractor is also required to submit pictures and/or descriptive literature of items listed above. Required delivery to be made to the Coeur d’Alene Nursery, located at 3600 Nursery Way, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815. All deliveries shall be made on regular workdays (Monday through Friday) during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time), excluding official Federal Government Holidays. Contractor shall have entire order ready for shipment and possession by the Government by August 31, 2008. The provision at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. One contract will be offered to the best value quote(s) made to the Government, considering availability, technical specifications and price.
