The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source to Foster & Freeman USA Inc. The Government anticipates a single Purchase Order for one each of the Crime-Lite 82S and 82L light source kits to Foster & Freeman USA Inc., 46030 Manekin Plaza, Suite 170, Sterling, Virginia 20166. The Crime-lite 82S and 82L light sources features multiple high-powered LEDSs that provide a very intense, yet narrow waveband output, in a compact portable design, and no other single product is know that can meet the Government's needs.

This notice of intent is not a request for quotes or competitive proposals. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the item required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the sole source award. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335129 Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing. The size standard is 500 Employees. All future information about this acquisition will be distributed solely through FedBizOpps.gov web site.
