Sealed bids for the Poorhouse Run Stream Restoration will be received online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) by the City of York, York County, Pennsylvania until 10 AM, Friday, July 10, 2020. Copies of Bidding Documents for the stream restoration and pedestrian trail installation are available online and at no cost at www.PennBid.net. NOTE: The Council of the City of York have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of the City of York. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to the City of York in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the stream restoration work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247.
