1.1 Scope: This proposal is to provide the City of Columbus, Division of Sewerage & Drainage with a Universal Term Contract (blanket type) to purchase approximately one million seven hundred fifty thousand pounds (1,750,000) annually of an organic emulsion cationic polymer as a sludge conditioner in a sludge dewatering centrifuge process for use in wastewater treatment applications. In addition, the Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant requires approximately 25,190 pounds per year of an anionic emulsion polyacrylamide delivered in 2,290 lb totes. The proposed contract will be in effect from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2023. 1.2 Classification: The successful bidder will provide, deliver, and unload bulk and tote size quantities of organic emulsion polymer. The supplier will also be required to provide specified safety training sessions.
