SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. SLAC has a requirement for domestically sourced of the following:

Description:
1. Polarization attenuating gratings ,QTY 20
Fused silica, surface-relief transmission gratings
Grating period: 460 nm ( ~2174 I/mm)
AOI: 59.5 deg (can likely be tuned for optimized performance No back-side AR coating (very close to Brewster operation) Efficiency specs at 800 nm:
DE OT TM: > 95%
DE OT TE/ DE OT TM (OT contrast): > 35:1
Grating area: 36 mm x 18 mm (stitch fields 3 pcs 12 mm x 18 mm)
Chip size: 38 mm x 20 mm
Chip thickness: 1 mm


Provide a price and lead time quotation with signed Representations & Certifications by not later than April 4 2019.
Source selection will be based on lowest price technically acceptable
Payment Terms: N-30
Freight terms: FOB Destination
The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms & Conditions for Commercial Supplies and Services under $100,000 M365 (Rev 17Feb2015) will be made a part of the resulting order.
