The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W. Tenth Street, Indianapolis, Indiana intents to negotiate with Zimmer US Inc, 345 E Main Street, Warsaw, IN 46580 to provide pneumatic tourniquets. The proposed action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.301-1. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes but responses received on or before June 12, 2006 will be evaluated. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
