UNICOR intends to enter into an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with one (1) base year and four (4) option years if exercised type contract for plywood products for FCI Ashaland KY, Forrest City AR. Solicitation number is FN1385-13 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal. The minimum delivery order quantity is 50 sheets per delivery order and the maximum delivery order quantity is 500 sheets. Delivery lead time is 14 days for each delivery order. This is a small business set aside requirement. Therefore, only proposals from small businesses will be considered for award. NAICS code associated with this requirement is 321211. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on a Single AWARD BASIS. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror's whose offer represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: List in order of importance: Adherence to specifications to include quality and color of samples. (full listing of this evaluation criteria will be listed in solicitation), Ability to meet Green Requirments, ISO certification, past performance and price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
