STATEMENT OF WORK CATHOLIC YOUTH MINISTRY NAS LEMOORE Position Summary To provide quality direction in youth ministry programs for the Catholic chapel community at Naval Air Station Lemoore. Qualifications 1. Must have a working understanding of requirements of support to youth in Catholic religious faith formation for various denominations aboard military installations. 2. Work closely with the Catholic Chaplain regarding Religious Education and formation. 3. Coordinate and recruit volunteers as a faith formation team. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Assist volunteers in maintaining accurate records of Catechist and student training conducted, test scores, attendance sacrament participation, and other pertinent information. 2. Coordinate and maintain volunteer teachers and assistant staff, formational programs. 3. Coordinate annual training events. 4. Be present at all scheduled Catholic education sessions and training meetings. 5. Conduct registration of participants in religious formation programs. 6. Coordinate with the Chaplains for special formation/education training events. 7. Coordinate with the Chapel manager for classroom usage. Evaluation 1. The contractor will be evaluated on the following components: a. Ongoing flexibility and ability to work well with the Catholic Chaplain and other Chaplains and members of different faiths, ethnic and social backgrounds, and children of all ages. b. Success in providing quality youth ministry for the Catholic congregation. c. Professionalism, timeliness and thoroughness in accomplishing tasks and responsibilities. Criteria Must have a working understanding of requirements of support to youth in Catholic religious faith formation for various denominations aboard military establishments. Must prove this requirement to the satisfaction of the Catholic Chaplain. Period of Performance October 14, 2007 through September 30, 2008. Labor Contractor will be paid for the above period of performance, in equal monthly payments upon electronic submission of invoices.
