This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is 70US0922R70092545 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Public Order Platoon Support Vehicle.  This requires vendor to provide a custom platoon support vehicle to provide response to high security areas that the US Secret Service is responsible for protecting and provide support for National Special Security Events as directed by the director of the USSS.
 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 effective April 26, 2022.  This solicitation is open market and the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336120, Heavy Duty Truck Manufacturing, and PSC code 4240, Safety and Rescue Equipment.  The anticipated Period of Performance is September 01, 2022, to August 31, 2023.  The Government intends to award a firm fixed price (Purchase Order) for a One (1) year contract from this solicitation.
