Supply:    The Air Force intends to issue a sole source award to AERO-CHEM INC. for the purchase of 120 drums of Plane Naked paint remover.  The estimated award date is 23 SEP 2009.  The NAICS code for this requirement is 325199 with a size standard of no more than 1,000 employees.  THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN TESTED AND DETERMINED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS OF THE QUALIFIED PRODUCT LIST (QPL) PURCHASE DESCRIPTION OC-ALC 2008-01.  THIS IS SOLE SOURCED TO AERO-CHEM, INC.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.  Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, all informational proposals will be considered within 10 days after the publication of this synopsis.  A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  Authority is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1).
