RE: PJKK Parking Garage Spall Study

Scope of Work
Provide GSA with solution for spall at exterior wall of garage:
1. Perform a thorough site visit to observe existing conditions and document patterns of deterioration.
2. Interview GSA Building Facility Management contractor for any reported information regarding concrete deterioration.
3. Perform concrete cores as required to determine solution.
4. Provide schematic plans and specifications with complete scope for solicitation of replacement and repair or rebar, concrete, louvers, attachments, etc.
5. Determine a budget cost for the recommended scope. Provide written report with final documents.
6. Location and existing plans attached.
Brief Background: The PJKK parking garage was renovated in 2012. Horizontal on the exterior roof adjacent to planters above the basement were installed in the parking area. The fastenings have caused deterioration of the concrete ceiling panels.
