The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to repair 1) NSN 4820-01-211-8359, positioner pitch, PN: PA-11-06865, qty 14 each, manufacturer is ZF Marine Electronics LLC. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room Bldg. 88; 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. It is anticipated that a non competitive sole source purchase order will be issued to ZF Marine or an authorized repair facility. It is the Governmentââ¬â¢s belief that ZF Marine the original equipment manufacturer, or an authorized distributor/repair facility can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all its components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 3 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources desiring to furnish other than AF Marine parts are required to submit the following information: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. The data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-08-Q-50201 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or about August 19, 2008. Contractors shall use ORCA to electronically submit annual representations and certifications (REPS & CERTS) in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor FEDBIZSOPPS for changes or amendments to the RFQ. Quotations are due August 27, 2008 and it is anticipated that award will be made by September 5, 2008.
