The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District is issuing a sources sought notice for market research purposes only. Therefore, USACE Omaha District, at this time, is not requesting proposals, and a solicitation is not available.
USACE Omaha District wants to identify prime contractors with the knowledge, skills, and capability to complete the project described in Attachment 1. The Government will use responses to assist in making acquisition decisions for the project. The Government requests responses from potential prime construction contractors with bonding capability (single job) of $100M or more. USACE Omaha District anticipates issuing a competitive solicitation under FAR Part 15 to obtain the best value using the tradeoff process.
USACE Omaha District is also planning to hold an Industry Day for this project at Pipestem Dam, Jamestown, ND, on 17 August 2021, and will create a different opportunity on SAM.gov for Industry Day.
All contractors must send responses by e-mail to [email protected], Contract Specialist, and [email protected], Contracting Officer, by 5 August 2021 at 2:00 PM CST. Include the sources sought notice identification number in the subject line of the e-mail submission.
Magnitude of Construction
The magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000,000 and $250,000,000.
Submission Details
All interested prime contractors should submit a narrative demonstrating their experience in construction projects of similar nature as described in the project details of Attachment 1. In addition, contractors should identify specific experience with Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC). Narratives should be ten pages or less and sent by e-mail.
