Western Area Power Administration, Desert Southwest Region, Phoenix, AZ Office has a requirement
for four (4) 362-kV Extra High Voltage Live-Tank Series Capacitor Protective Bypass Breakers in accordance
with official specifications and drawings, as well as, designed and tested in accordance with
ANSI/IEEE C37 series with symmetrical rating requirements and IEC 62271-109, high-voltage
switchgear and control gear – Part 109: Alternating-current series capacitor bypass breakers. This
is a 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ). The assigned NAICS is 335311 with a
size standard of 750 employees. This requirement will be solicited as a commercial item acquisition
prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed
price contract award is contemplated and only new equipment will be accepted. Interested parties
