WILLAMALANE PARK AND RECREA TION DISTRICT PIERCE PARK Bids due 2:00 pm, February 9, 2022 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Willamalane Park and Recreation District (WPRD) is accepting sealed bids for work related to the construction of Pierce Park, a new 5.7 acre neighborhood park located at Otto Street, Springfield, Oregon. Project Description: In general, the work consists of earth work, erosion control, installation of a new children's playground with play structures, artificial turf safety surface, utilities, concrete side walks, premanufactured picnic shelter installation, landscaping and irrigation, and gravel trail construction. Engineers estimate for the site work under this contract (does not include owner purchased items or bid alternates) is in the region of $650,000. There will be a pre-offer conference to review the project on January 21st, 2022 at 11am at the park near 2476 Otto Street. The conference is not mandatory, but contractors are strongly advised to attend. Construction is anticipated to start on May 2nd, 2022 with Final Completion by August 31st, 2022. Solicitation Documents may be viewed at the Bob Keefer Center front desk at the address below, and can also be viewed and downloaded for printing online at http://willamalane.org/planning/ bids-rfps/. Solicitation Documents will be available from January 13th, 2022 to February 9th, 2022. All bidders that download the Solic itation Documents must email the Willam alane Project Manager [email protected] to confirm they have done so. This is to ensure that any potential bidders can be advised of any addenda that become available and need to be downloaded. WPRD will be accepting sealed bids for the work, delivered to the Bob Keefer Center, 250 S. 32nd Street, Springfield, Oregon, before 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time on the 9th day of February, 2022. WPRD will publicly open bids on February 9th, 2022 at 2:05 pm at the Bob Keefer Center. Bids may be physically delivered or mailed to Simon Daws, Project Manager at Bob Keefer Center. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the project name. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. WPRD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders" upon the Bid Form provided and accom panied by Bid Security.
