The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents for the above stated project. The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of: Base Bid Construction of seventeen (17) concrete pickleball courts at the Ronald Reagan Sports Park. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of turf and topsoil, import/export of soils, grading, concrete paving construction, court surfacing, gravel parking lots, drainage, striping, installation of fencing, furnishing and installation of shade structure, solar lights, and other outdoor furniture. Additive Alternate #1 Construction of an asphalt parking lot on the westerly side of the new pickleball courts in lieu of the westerly gravel parking lot. The work primarily includes, but not limited to, subgrade preparation, placement of an asphalt concrete course, installation of solar lights, concrete curb, trench drain, cross gutter, and striping. [Note to bidders: Unit prices for Additive Alternate #1 shall represent the ADDITIONAL cost for the items being added/replaced.] Additive Alternate #2 Construction of an asphalt parking lot on the easterly side of the new pickleball courts in lieu of the easterly gravel parking lot.
