Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) is excited to be hosting its first Industry Forum on 23 April 2014. The conference will be held within the vicinity of Port Hueneme, California, and the details will be posted at a later date. NSWC PHD is one of the eight surface warfare centers and our mission is to provide test and evaluation, systems engineering, integrated logistics support, in-service engineering, and integration of surface ship weapons, combat systems, and warfare systems. NSWC PHD provides the leading interface to the surface force for in-service maintenance and engineering support provided by the Warfare Centers. The purpose of the Industry Forum is to provide industry with a basic understanding of NSWC PHD's mission, and to provide a general forecast of possible future requirements, potential contracting and/or subcontracting opportunities, information on how to do business with NSWC PHD, one-on-one sessions with the NSWC PHD Deputy for Small Business (DSB), and an opportunity for networking with other industry representatives. A notional agenda for the one day event includes presentations by NSWC PHD Technical Departments and offices, including presentations from our contracting office and from our DSB. To ensure a successful conference, we encourage interested parties to submit suggested topics of interest for the agenda, as well as any questions, comments, or suggestions.
