Sealed bids are invited for the construction of Department of Military Affairs Petersburg Readiness Center Modernization – MOV & POV Parking, VA. Project# 13-0045. PC: 123-18369-015. The project is located at 1800 Baylors Lane, Petersburg, VA. The project is generally described as crack repair, seal coat and pavement marking of the existing asphalt parking lot, expansion of parking on the north side of the building, associated erosion & sediment control measures, grading and site Stormwater management. Bid additives include expansion of the gravel MOV hardstand, relocation of fencing around the MOV area, a lighted site monument sign with associated electric work, and additional asphalt parking spaces on the south side of the building. Sealed bids will be received at Building 316, Fort Pickett, corner of 10th and Rives Street, Blackstone, VA 23824. The deadline for submitting bids is 2:00 P.M. sharp, as determined by the Bid Officer, on August 23rd, 2022. The bids will be opened publicly and read aloud beginning at 2:00 P.M., on August 24th, 2022, at Building 316, Fort Pickett, Blackstone, VA 23824. All bids SHALL be submitted in a sealed envelope.
