Sealed bids are invited for the construction of Department of Military Affairs Petersburg Readiness Center Modernization – Construction Addition at Petersburg, VA. Project # 13-0043, PC: 123-18369-014. The project is located at 1800 Baylors Lane, Petersburg, VA. The project is generally described as construction of a 3,520 SF addition on the west face of the existing structure to house new offices and multipurpose spaces. An existing classroom shall be repurposed as a double-loaded corridor with offices on either side leading to the new addition. HVAC, electrical, and site work are included in the scope of work. A metal building canopy shall be provided on-site adjacent the existing single-story metal building. New interior signage shall be installed. Sealed bids will be received at Building 316, Fort Pickett, corner of 10th and Rives Street, Blackstone, VA 23824. The deadline for submitting bids is 2:30 P.M. sharp, as determined by the Bid Officer, on August 23rd, 2022.
