The North American Industry Classification System code is 423450. The purpose of this procurement is to do the following:
Collect high-quality data from the field to evaluate three CDC-developed tools related to rabies risk and transmission dynamics to allow for better implementation and management of rabies surveillance programs. We expect to procure evaluation reports on three CDC-developed tools, and collect at least 300 rabies case-management reports to improve functionality of CDC-developed rabies transmission models. CDC will analyze the data collected through this contract to revise national and international standards and best practices for rabies surveillance programs. The results will allow for a globally applicable tool to expand to all CDC country office projects.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contract Specialist on or before 9:00 AM EST on September 12, 2019. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All vendors/prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to an award of a federal contract. Responses received will be considered for future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the CDC will proceed to sole source this requirement to Universidad Peruana Cayetano Herdia.
