Description: The National Park Service (NPS), Denver Service Center (DSC) is requesting Revegetation Services for Pea Ridge Military Park in Northwestern Arkansas Garfield County, is to perform the following tasks:

All seed collected or produced for this contract must originate from native genetically appropriate species. All species and genetic material must originate from naturally occurring plant populations occurring within the Ozarks ecoregion and not greater than 200 miles east/west of the park and 125 miles north/south of the park.

Seed will include grass, forb, and shrub seeds. Seeds can be hand collected or hand collected and grown out in seed increase fields at contractors discretion. All seed weights ordered here and reported by the contractor must be in Pure Live Seed (PLS) quantities. Acknowledging that seed production is based on highly variable environmental conditions this contract details a list of ordered or target species. If due to variable environmental conditions some species are not available the contractor must coordinate and negotiate with the government a list and quantity of acceptable substitutions. A list of acceptable substitution species is included in this contract for reference.

Seed collected or harvested from increase fields will be cleaned to industry standards including to remove inert material and non-target species. Cleaned seed will be sent to an approved and certified seed testing lab to test for non-target seed species and viability, then delivered to the Park. Reporting / documentation reports will be required within one month following collections and following delivery of seed.
