Peck Mesa Mastication, 160 acres

The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for a contractor to cut and shred (general masticate),lop and scatter juniper trees with a Contractor furnished machine (e.g. Hydro-Ax, Fecon Bull Hog, chainsaws), 160 acres. The location is 13 miles west of Maybell, Colorado.

No site visit is scheduled but offerors may visit the site on their own. The location is right off the county road and the project is easily accessible and easy to see from the county road.

This solicitation is being issued as a total small business set-aside. The NAICS associated with this solicitation is 115310 Support Activities for Forestry, Fuels Management Services, which has a small business size standard of $34M.

Award will be made on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable basis. See provision 52.212-2 `Evaluation' for details of what must be included with your quote.

Technical questions regarding this RFQ shall be submitted in writing only via email to the Contract Specialist Laura StJohn at [email protected] by no later than Monday February 12, 2024 at 4:00 pm MT. Any questions received will be answered via an amendment to the solicitation on or about Wednesday February 14, 2024. If no questions are received no amendment will be issued. In order to ensure all offerors have the same information questions will not be accepted by telephone, they must be emailed and the answers will be provided in the amendment.

Quotes shall be submitted via email to [email protected] by no later than Thursday February 22, 2024 at 4:00 pm MT. All quotes received will be acknowledged by a return email.
