HOFFMAN SKANSKA LLC PDX TCORE - TERMINAL CORE REDE VELOPMENT BID PACKAGE: #5 - OCCUPANCY SAFETY PLAN TRADE PARTNER BIDS DUE: NOVEMBER 21, 2019 AT 2:00 P.M. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Hoffman Skanska LLC, Construction Manager/General Contractor ("CM/GC") for PDX TCORE - Terminal Core Rede velopment ("Project") being performed for The Port of Portland ("Owner") requests trade partner proposals for Bid Package #5 - Occupancy Safety Plan Trade Partner. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, working with the CM/GC, Design Team, and Port of Portland Officials with expertise and experience that will assist in development and submission of the Occupancy Safety Plan (OSP) to be submitted with design permit documents being prepared by others. In addition, Provider will assist in organizing and compiling the necessary, supplemental support documents and engineering proofs, in a manner to support the OSP. Services will include working with CMGC, A/E and key subcon tractors to develop a complete and comprehensive plans and written docu ments to thoroughly address the pertinent issues regarding safety of the airline passengers and occupants of the airport building during construction. Proposals must utilize the specified PROPOSAL FORM and be submitted as a single file (less than 10MB) to [email protected], no later than 2:00 p.m., NOVEMBER 21, 2019. Prequalification must be completed unless previously submitted in the past 12 months https://apps.skanska.com/ prequalinquiry/. The inclusion of non-essential information e.g. market ing/promotional material, safety manuals, etc. is strongly discouraged. Bids that are materially incomplete, are directed to other loca tions, received after the bid deadline, or if Proposer is not currently prequal i fied may not be consid ered. Within 30 days after award Proposer must provide evidence that Proposer is registered with the State of Oregon Construction Contractor's Board (CCB) to the extent required by ORS Chapter 701. Proposers are required to file a $30,000 Public Works Bond with the CCB in accordance with ORS 279C.836 EXCEPT exemptions allowed under paragraphs (7) or (8) will not be permitted. Due to the scheduled start of the work, the $30,000 Public Works Bond must be on file with the CCB at the time of bid. This is a prevailing wage project. Bidders must comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law in ORS Chapter 279C Refer to proposal documents for complete proposal requirements and addi tional infor mation. This Project has a Small Busi ness Enterprise (SBE) aspirational goal of 20%, of which 8.5% shall be minority owned businesses. Small Business Enter prises (SBE) are defined as for-profit small businesses that be been certified by either the State of Oregon's Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) or the Washington State Office of Minority & Women's Business Enterprises (OMWBE). Prime-tier Subcontractors that are not certified firms will have the same goal to utilize lower-tier SBE's for 20% of construction costs, of which 8.5% shall be minority owned busi nesses.
