NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH

Smartronix, Inc.

The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order, in accordance with Federal Acquisition

Regulation FAR part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334511.

The following will be procured as follows:

One (1) each PSIMe-200-C01
         - PCI Express Programmable Dual-Stream PCM Simulator with IRIG Time Output, PCIe 3.0 x4 includes Break-out Cable

One (1) each NExT Simipro-to-Pro2
       - OMEGA NExT-Semipro Upgrade to PRO-02.
              -adds: one (1) each INSIGHT data processing SW
              -adds: one (1) each ORIGIN-PRO simulation SW
              -adds: one (1) each NExT IADS Network Connection, supports one server
              -adds: SERV to NExT Conversion Utilities

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of

FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit their interest and capability to the contract specialist below not later than, 6 April 2018, 1:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time. Based upon the responses to this notice, the Government will determine if this proposed acquisition should be opened to competition. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
