The RFP is for Pay by Plate (PBP) Pay Station Technology that will streamline the customer service experience and immediately replace legacy equipment. This solicitation includes new hardware to accept parking payment via coin, credit card, contactless payment; parking management software to support reporting and reconciliation efforts for paid parking; and integration with Data Ticket, Inc., the City’s parking citation management system and Vigilant Solutions, the City’s license plate recognition (LPR) technology provider. The selected Contractor will provide the full range of services including parking meter equipment, installation, a web-based meter maintenance system, warranty and customer service support, training, reporting and maintenance tracking, and integrations with existing and future parking technology vendors.
