Project Description The objective of the project is provide redundancy to the aging pipelines of San Francisco’s water distribution system. The Work to be performed under this contract includes the replacement of 8-inch, 16-inch, and 24-inch ductile iron pipelines, sewer replacement, installation of new curb ramps and pavement renovation on Castro Street from 19th Street to 26th Street and along 26th Street from Castro Street to Guerrero Street. Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 20.00% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. Please contact Jason Chow at (415) 554-3103 for further information.
