All bids must be in the City Clerks Office, 205 S. Lincoln Ave., Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, 53916, by 1:00 p.m. on the date specified on the Notice Inviting Bids. Bids must be sealed and properly identified, giving the name and address of the bidder and marked with the name of item of equipment bid on. All bids are F.O.B., Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, with freight fully prepaid to destination at the Parks & Forestry Dept., 205 W. South Street, Beaver Dam, WI 53916. 2. Bids which are entered upon any other form or proposal than the one specified by the City of Beaver Dam may be rejected and not considered for award purposes. 4. The City of Beaver Dam reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept such bid as they deem most advantageous to the City of Beaver Dam. The City reserves the right to consider the bids for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of the bids and will then either award the contract or reject all bids within that time. The City of Beaver Dam does not recognize sub-contractors. 13. To his proposal, the bidder shall attach literature on the vehicle. Said literature shall list specifications and illustrations of unit offered. Information shall be explicit, showing equipment being bid. The City of Beaver Dam desires this literature so marked as to specifically indicate exactly what will be furnished by the bidder in meeting the requirements herein set forth. Any deviations from specifications must be cleared by the Parks & Forestry Management prior to bidding. 14. All questions or inquiries which any proposed bidder may have prior to bidding shall be directed to John Neumann in the Parks & Forestry Office at 205 W. South St., (920) 887-4623. No bidder shall plead ignorance due to lack of prior information. Bids shall be complete in accordance with these specifications, including proposal. 15. Successful Bidder will be responsible for past due delivery and will be penalized at the rate of $100.00 per day for overdue delivery. Penalty to be taken off the price of the bid.
