The City of Bakersfield is soliciting bids from experienced general contractors for Parking Lot Modification Improvements at 3737 Stockdale Highway (Phase 1) Pursuant to Part 7 of Division 2 of the California Labor Code (Section 1720 et seq.), the Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rate of wages to workers on this project as determined by the Director of California Department of Industrial Relations. Interested bidders must log in and download complete bid specifications available under the âDocuments/Attachmentsâ tab. A project site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM at 3737 Stockdale Highway, Bakersfield, CA 93309. Contractors wishing to bid this project will be able to walk thru the site at that time. While this is not mandatory in order to bid on this project, the City strongly recommends that all contractors wishing to bid on this project attend this site visit.
