Performance Requirements
The contractor shall provide all personal protective equipment, supervision, and certifications necessary, to perform Paramedic Services. The contractor shall respond to request for emergency medical services, provide patient treatment, and patient stabilization as required by the performance work statement. The paramedic may be required to perform any level of pre-hospital healthcare, ranging from basic first-aid to Advanced Life Support (ALS). The contractor will support special events as required by the 27 Special Operations Medical Group. The contractor shall respond to all requests for emergency medical care with the ambulance crew, including response to in-flight emergencies (IFE). The contractor shall perform procedures within the scope of care for which they are trained. The Service Contract Act apply for Curry and Roosevelt County. The contractor shall follow all local and state Statute which outlines the scope of practice for paramedics. The contractor shall provide one (1) paramedic on every shift 24-hour a day, seven days per week, and 365 days per year including holidays. This contract is a non-personal Health Care Services Contract under which the contractor is an independent contractor.
