Panic Hardware & Installation
The Brooklyn Job Corps Academy is soliciting bids for someone to provide and install panic hardware.
The Brooklyn Job Corps Academy is a federally funded vocational and educational training program for youth. The program is open year round with approximately 205 trainees. The Brooklyn Job Corps is a satellite center of the South Bronx Job Corps and it is operated by ResCare, Inc. for the US Department of Labor.
SCOPE OF WORK
To provide and install Panic Hardware for five (4) Exit Doors located at 585 DeKalb Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11205. Also, to replace glass double doors with new 3' x 7' hollow metal double 1-hour rated double doors compliant panic hardware.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must be in compliance with all Local, State and Federal Guidelines and Regulations.
• Work to be accomplished in a safe and efficient manner with minimal or no disruptions or endangerments to trainees and/or staff.
• Must provide a copy of current licensure and insurance.
• Must be registered on the SAM.gov Website
• Must complete Vendor Packet. Which consist of the following items:
• New Vendor Form. Fill out entire form accordingly. DUN# SECTION IS A
PRIORITY.
• W-9 Form
• Non-Conflict of Interest
• Terms & Conditions and
• Anti-Bribery Form-Sign Approval box.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ACCEPTANCE
• Contractor must acknowledge by signature that they meet all Federal, State, Local and OSHA regulations and that all specifications terms and conditions set forth are acceptable.
• Bidders must submit their proposals via email, fax or mail in a sealed envelope by 5pm close of business on Feb 3, 2014 to the attention of Barbara Kimbrough, Purchasing Agent.
The following documents Davis Bacon, Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities and Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Requirement will be incorporated and made part of agreement.
