1.  This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items.  This soliciation document, TOSTPS-16-0358, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).  Under this requirement, the Unted States Marshals Service (USMS) intends to award a commercial, firm fixed price purchase order.

2.  This RFQ is issued under FAR part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures.  This requirement is for the purchase of Palo Alto Renewals .  See attached requirements page.  The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 423430, The small business size standard is 250 employees.

3.  The government intends to award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this combined synopisis/soliciation.  Offerors must provide DUNS and have an active status in SAM.gov to be considered. 

4.  Price - The government will evaluate price for reasonableness. 

5. Deliverables -  The contractor is required to provide all hardware/software licenses for the items to be delivered under this contract within 15 days after award and/or within the line item period of performance.  The vendor shall make the End User (government) customer clearly known to Palo Alto so that service information can transfer to the appropriate party.  Prior to payment authorization, the governement intends to confirm with Palo Alto that all software provided under this contract has been sourced directly with Palo Alto or through authorized channels only and that all warranties/support are transferrable to the government.  Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Feeral Acquisition Circular 2005-27.  FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commerical Items applies.

6.  Award - Award will be made on the basis of the lowest price technicially acceptable.  In order to technically acceptable, vendors must be a an authorized dealer/partner or communicate sourcing partners.

7.  Payment will be made via credit card.
