THE SOLICITATION AND IT'S RESULTANT CONTRACT WILL BE SET- ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) CONCERNS.

This pre-solicitation notice is for the procurement to remove and replace carpet and to repaint specific rooms at the Mansfield Federal Building/US Courthouse, located at 400 North Main Street, Butte, Montana 59701.

The scope of work entails, but is not limited to: Removing and replacing carpet and repainting in specific rooms.  Work shall include labor, equipment, supplies, materials and supervision to accomplish work.

NAICS - 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million.  The estimated range for the total contract value is between $100,000 and $250,000.  Contract completion shall be approximately June 30, 2020.  The solicitation will be issued on or about January 16, 2020, with proposals due not later than 4:00pm MST, February 26, 2020.

Award will be a firm fixed price contract, and the procurement method shall be a competitive negotiated Request for Proposals.  The following evaluation factors shall be used in determining the contractor offering the best value to the Government:  (1) Past performance on similar projects, (2) Experience on comparable projects, and (3) Price.

The subject solicitation includes Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) information.  For reasons of security and before release of SBU information, the requestor must complete the Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidders/Offerors Form, and provide the following information:  Company name and address; point of contact name; phone number; and email address; company DUNS number and Tax ID number; company's bonding limitation for a single contract; and a copy of the company's business license.  All requests shall be submitted on the company's official letterhead via email to [email protected], or via fax at (406)441-1269.  Specifications and requirements will be furnished with the solicitation to all eligible and interested parties (that have furnished SBU information noted above) via email, mail, or fax.

There is a Pre-Bid Site Visit/Walk scheduled for Wednesday, Jaunuary 22, 2020 at 10:30am MST.  There will be a project representative onsite - Mr. Steve Janzen.  Please meet in Room 303A and you must bring ID.  It is required to acknowledge whether you will be attending the site walk (along with your SBU Form - request for solicitation). It is highly encouraged to attend the site visit.
