The 96th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit, negotiate, and award an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity type contract for packing/containerization and drayage of personal property services in the vicinity of Eglin AFB, Florida. The NAICS code is 488991. The Small Business Size Standard is $23.5 million. The Contractor shall provide labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary in connection with delivery, service, pick-up, and transportation to perform this requirement. Services may include premove survey, servicing of appliances, disassembly of furniture, if required, packaging, inventorying, tagging, wrapping, padding, packing and bracing of household goods in government-owned and furnished shipping containers at owner's residence, or at contractor's facility when ordered by the contracting officer, properly securing and sealing for shipment, weighing, obliterating old markings, marking, strapping, and drayage of the container within the area of performance. Service shall also include loading of shipments on line-haul carrier's equipment. Outbound house-hold goods, Inbound house-hold goods, and intra-area moves for the Eglin AFB area which consists of the Main Base, auxiliary fields, ranges and test sites as well as Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, and Santa Rosa Counties. The anticipated contract performance period will be 01 October 2009 through 30 September 2010, with four one-year options, if exercised. This acquisition will be solicited as 100 percent set aside for small businesses. The proposed solicitation number is FA2823-09-R-0002.
