The Federal Prison Industries located in Allenwood, PA is seeking to make a single award for a package strapping system that will be used to strap the corrugated cardboard boxes used to ship furniture products. This strapping system is being purchased to reduce overall packing expenses relative to using double-walled packing boxes, as these systems have been found to be more cost effective at other UNICOR facilities.  The NAICS designation for this is 333318.  The deadline for questions will be February 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. EST.  No questions will be answered after this date and time.  ALL questions must be addressed in writing to Tiffani Balestrini at [email protected].  No questions will be answered via telephone.  Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, FEDERAL PRISON INDUSTRIES, 1400 DALE BUMPERS ROAD, FORREST CITY, AR 72335, ATTN JOSH HASSLER, REF FN1497-20.  All proposals should be emailed to Josh Hassler at [email protected].  The subject line of the email should reference FN1497-20.  All offerors must complete the Business Management Questionaire included in solicitation.  All offerors must be registered on WWW.SAM.GOV.  All offerors must acknowledge all amendments if any.
