The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (Commission) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to perform demolitions of Commission property, which includes structures that are often acquired in poor condition during park land acquisitions. The Commission's demolition projects include both residential and commercial properties, which may include houses, buildings, barns, outbuildings, pools, pavement, asphalt, shrubbery, trees and other miscellaneous items. The First step is requesting qualification statements/proposals from firms who have experience in demolition services and selecting and qualifying firms to proceed to Step Two. Step two will entail the actual solicitation of the tasks based upon the fees and qualifications submitted in step one, from the firms which qualify under step one. The Commission may establish demolition services contract with multiple qualified Contractors for the procurement of as-needed demolition services, in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions stated herein.
