The California Department of Food & Agriculture (CDFA), Pest Detection and Emergency Projects (PDEP) Branch purchases traps, related trapping and shipping supplies for statewide trapping programs, including those conducted under contract with County Agricultural Commissioners. If PDEP is unable to purchase these supplies, time-sensitive plant protection activities will not occur and some counties may not take advantage of the cost savings through purchase volume.
