The purpose of this contract is to provide funding to build capacity among CHWs and promotores on pesticide-related illness and exposure prevention through the train-the-trainer program and expand training efforts by supporting the 100 CHWs that have been trained through OEHHA¿s train-the-trainer project and training additional CHWs so these individuals can effectively provide information on pesticide safety and illness prevention topics to the farmworker community in linguistically and culturally appropriate ways.
