The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Demand Technology, located at P.O. Box 1503, Naples, Fl 34106-1503 to continue maintenance suppport for Performance Sentry software licenses. Under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). "Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available..." This software is proprietary. Only Demand Technology has access to the source code necessary to provide the required maintenance subscription composed of version upgrades and updates, bug fixes and patches, and telephone/internet support.

SSA intends to establish a firm fixed-priced purchase for these supplies and services. Written responses to this Notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bone-fide capability to fulfill this requirement. Submissions shall not exceed 5MB. This is not a request for quotation. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not notify respondents of the results of this information.
