Synopsis: (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation, AG-04T1-S-08-0012, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. (iv) The set-aside for this solicitation is 100% small business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325314 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. (v) Item 1 – 50 tons of organic fertilizer in bags. (vi) The following commercial item is requested in this solicitation: Approximately 50 tons of palletized or prilled organic fertilizer blended for grass crops with an N-P-K rating of 9-3-5, 9-3-7, 8-2-6 or similar. Please provide chemical analysis data sheets with quote. Fertilizer shall be shipped on pallets in 50 pound bags or less. (vii) Product shall be delivered F.O.B. destination to Diamond Lake Ranger Station, 2020 Ranger Station Road, Idleyld Park, OR 97447. Delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Only those products with the lowest cost per ton of insoluble Nitrogen with the least odoriferous primary ingredients (bone meal, feather meal, kelp meal) will be considered for award.
