OPW 53837: Papio WRRF Digester Building 900 MCC Upgrade This project will consist of Construction of a new electrical room that will be located in the existing gas safety room. New stoops, exterior access and sidewalks to be installed for entry into the new electrical room. Replacement and relocation of the existing MCC-16 located in Digester Building 900 South electrical room and all associated previous connections serving existing equipment. Replacement equipment will consist of a 480 V switchboard, 480 V motor control center, lighting transformer, and lighting panelboard and will be located in the new electrical room. Relocation of existing Recirculation Pump RP-9A04 variable frequency drive, two grinder control panels, two thickener pump variable frequency drives and site lighting controls to new electrical room. Relocation of existing biogas piping, hot water piping and demolition of existing monorail and hoist to allow for construction of the new electrical room. Installation of new HVAC equipment including heating, cooling and a positive pressurization unit. This project requires submission of an Economic Equity and Inclusion Plan (EEIP). This project has an SEB reserve for ESB and SB Tier 1 and Tier 2 categories for 2% of the total bid amount. The Public Works Department is also requiring verification of a "Class B" City of Omaha General Contractor's License at the time of bid.
