The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for 7.62 mm Long-Range Optimized Battle Rifles (OBR). This solicitation is issued as a request-for-quote (RFQ) for LaRue Tactical 7.62 mm 16-inch OBRs. This is a "Brand Name" requirement. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.106(b)(1), a DEA "Limited Source Documentation" is attached to this RFQ for reference.

The Government intends to issue a single, firm-fixed price purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All applicable provisions and clauses, including FAR clauses 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 are in the attached matrix. All sources shall submit a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3.
All sources shall submit a quotation which will be evaluated. Evaluation factors other than price include past performance. Sources shall submit a minimum of three (3) references from previous requirements to allow the government to conduct past-performance surveys. Evaluation will be based on best value - whether the lowest priced of the quotations or offers having the highest past performance rating possible represents the best value when compared to any lower priced quotation or offer.
All sources shall provide ALL OR NONE in response to this combined synopsis/solicitation. All questions and quotes shall be submitted electronically to [email protected]. The deadline for questions is June 11, 2012 at 2:00 pm EST.
Questions & Answers will be posted as an amendment to this solicitation. Quotes are due no later than June 14, 2012 at 11:00 am EST.
