The United States Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) – Armaments Center, located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ has a requirement to procure technical support services for developing a multiphase, multidimensional interior ballistics model using the OpenFOAM framework. The NAICS code for this effort is 519190 with a Small Business Size Standard of $30,000,000.

The purpose of Amendment 0001 to this solicitation is to:

1. Revise the solicitation strategy from sole source to competitive selection based on industry interest expressed in this requirement.

2. Incorporate "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA)" selection criteria as Attachment 0001 of this solicitation.

3. Incorporate the following provisions/clauses:

- FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items

- FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items

- FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (JUN 2020) -- Alternate I (OCT 2014)

4. Extend the submission deadline to 11 September 2020 at 3:00pm EST.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government.
