The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Thermo Fisher Scientific Asheville, LLC, 28 Schenck Parkway, Asheville, NC 28803, for continued maintenance on Thermo Fisher equipment, which includes a Jouan Centrifuge CR212R, S/N 49605083; Legend RT Sorvall, S/N 40519735; RC-5C Plus Centrifuge 20 S/N 9904775, 906309, U28P-157725-VP, U28P-157726-VP; Legend RT (ADVNC) S/N 40584088, 40584089, 40587956, 40212818, 40587957, 40082010, 40127714, 40235271; Super T 21 Table Centrifuge S/N R150-155670-RO; Sorvall Legend MAC S/N 40607737; Sorvall WX 90 ULTR S/N S08S-654590-5S; Lab Incubator T/C S/N 314586-33914, 315005-34181; and Symphony 5.3A S/N 40940540, 40940582. This will be one-year maintenance service on all items, payable quarterly in arrears. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
